Brenda grew up on the east side of Michigan and moved west in 1987 to attend Western Michigan University. From there she discovered a career path, leading her to veterinary medicine. She has happily been in the veterinary field since 1994 and joined the Lakeview Animal Hospital team in the fall of 2016.  Brenda is happiest to help those wonderful, little, furry souls that we call our best friends, return to good health and to continue to stay healthy. Her special interests are in phlebotomy and nursing care.  Brenda and her wonderful husband, Michael, have two beautiful daughters, Baylee and Avery. 

​While not working with animals, Brenda enjoys all aspects of photography (except being on the receiving end of the lens) and spending any time that she can with her family and friends.
