Compassionate Euthanasia
Losing a pet is one of the most difficult things a person can experience. Whether the decision to say goodbye to a pet is sudden, or something you’ve anticipated for weeks or months, it’s a highly emotional time.
We welcome and encourage owners to stay with their pet during this process. At this time, we offer a couple different options for families when saying goodbye to their pet:
|
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard." |
Saying goodbye is truly the final act of kindness we can do for our pets.
How will I know it's the right time to say goodbye?
This is probably one of the most common questions owners ask, and the most difficult one to answer. There may not be a clear-cut ‘right’ time to euthanize your dog, but there is often (although not always) a window where it could be considered the ‘best’ time for a number of reasons.
